I liked this book until the end. I was fully invested in certain characters, despite not loving the quality of writing, and then got to the end and was so disappointed. I think this might be the first book in a series which I'm not too pleased with and won't continue reading. The way the book was ended made me think if they had given it 10 more pages we could have wrapped everything up and the lead out was not enticing enough for me to want to give this book any more of my time. I probably would have liked this better in like 6th grade.
