Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter

I normally like Karin Slaughter books, but this one didn't hit the mark. It was disturbing at points with themes of SA, torture, and murder. Essentially, a family has been torn apart after one of their daughters goes missing and is presumed to be dead. Years later, the remaining sisters are estranged and haven't spoken in years. They find themselves needing each other's support after one of their husband dies and then the police start asking questions.

Both sisters end up being abused by the same man who's been obsessed with their family for years. I found it too graphic when the author went into detail about the ways they were abused, tortured, etc.
