I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb
4.0

The first 200 pages were pretty difficult - Dominick, the narrator, is angry and arrogant and not at all likeable, and the thought of spending 900 pages with this guy is not very palatable. As soon as the various stories of his childhood, his grandfather's story, and his relationship with the therapists is explored, however, the book became really hard to put down. Thought-provoking and complex, I can see why it has been so well reviewed over the years.
