I had a bit of trouble to get into that book. Even if I think that it was meant to be that way, I felt a little lost as first. After that, I enjoyed the story, even if it was not for me the bit book crush that some of my blogging friends had.

The author created an interesting world in Elsewhere. There were cool ideas and interesting stuff. Me, probably because of my real life job, I saw a kind of metaphor about the mourning process. When a bad thing happens (not necessarily death) a person have to change their goals because some of those will just never happen. I found that part really good.

I was not really attached to the characters and had trouble to believe in the relationships. I felt that everything was just "on the surface" and that things were going really fast sometimes. I liked the principle but found the story itself was a bit simple.

A good read but not a great read for me!
