A Bloody Bloody Mess In the Wild Wild West by Justin Bienvenue

4.0

When a book has a line like this....

"Little did they know this man’s heart was colder then a dead corpse and blacker then the ace of spades."

...you know you are in for a hell of a ride. This book is quite short, very bloody and never slows down, not for one second. The book is split into three parts. Part 1: introduction to the town and it's inhabitants, you can almost picture this being narrated by some old prospector with no teeth. Part 2: the deal is made, the battle begins whilst the womenfolk and kids escape the men prepare themselves for battle. Finally part 3: the battle itself, shooting, fires, knife attacks, explosions biting and tearing, a superb amount of violence. Awesome stuff.

A good western where heroes are made and the dead come back!
