I went into this expecting something dark and gritty... Instead, I got a wholesome friends to lovers, wholly vanilla, honestly pretty predictable story. This would be perfect for fans of romance that's very, very light on the fantasy elements. And maybe change the cover to portray what this story is about? 

The narrator was fabulous, though! Can't say enough good things about the narrator and will definitely be finding more books read by her!
