I really wish I hadn't taken as long as I did to read this book. I disliked the first 150 pages apart from the writing. THe writing is what kept me reading this book. THe entire rest of the book was amazing. Especially the ending. It felt so real. So emotional. So heart wrenching. I've never gone through this but it really shows how genuine it could feel. The fact that it was written by a man is even more impressive. The story is really a 4.5, but because the writing was so amazing I had to give it a 5. If you love poetic, verse sounding writing that is very narrative I would highly encourage you to read this.
