holy fucking shit was this intense.
i enjoyed the world-building, however i didn’t like how forced explanations were. first with the divine and then calling forth the gods? the whole psychedelic-to-pantheon was strange. it was such a long book yet i wanted it to expand more about the lore and the precedent for war, not people being hellbent on drugs 😭 i felt like the book was shoving nezha and rin’s relationship in my face rather than the plot :-(
anyways, i do have an emotional attachment to rin and will support her no matter what 🤞🏼 rin defender 4 life
