My Mother's Eyes: A Short Story by Jeremy Ray

dark emotional reflective fast-paced

5.0

It is amazing to me how Jeremy Ray can write such a short, yet powerful story. Not only that, but that he can write across all genres and be equally amazing.

My Mother's Eyes hit me hard...my heart was so tight and constricted reading Jordie's thoughts and feeling what he felt that by the end of it I had to sit and simmer a while.

Life moves so quickly and lately it seems to be on hyper-speed. I often wonder whether I am spending enough time with those I love. After reading this .. it definitely makes me want to step it up and be more in the moment and make sure my family and friends know how much I love them.

If you haven't read Jeremy Ray yet...give him a try. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed. His stories may be short, but they are well-written, flow well, and are always interesting.
