This book was better than the last 2, not by far, but by quite a bit. There were moments that I actually found myself enjoying it, which is more than I could say about books 2 and 3.

Overall, I was really let down with the King Arthur fantasy world crossover. It felt like King Arthur was just a selling point for the series that was mentioned a couple times here and there, until this book, where a lot of the King Arthur characters were brought front and center.

I never really connected with any of the characters, and more than anything, I think Ava just frustrated me.

But that being said, this book was a lot more action packed, there was actual scheming and spies and everything that I was looking for in the other installments, so I was very happily surprised (and relieved) when reading this one.
