It's been a while since I plowed through a series this quickly. And it's so rare that I get to the end of book 3 and want to keep reading. I love the characters in this series and the worldbuilding. Like, summoning alien animals into battle? That's cool. Growing fungus with your magic? Also cool. What weird and amazing magic specialties! The political plot is good, so far only a little bit of bureaucracy and intricate political details. I'm assuming the last one will be full of that stuff.
