Big Trouble in Little China/Escape From New York by Greg Pak, John Carpenter, Daniel Bayliss
3.0
I would like to preface this with the fact that I got it in a LootCrate and know next to nothing about either Big Trouble in Little China or Escape from New York; so much so that I thought Snake was Snake from Metal Gear. With that being said...
I found this comic okay. Nothing special. Just a quick read if you're bored for two minutes.
The art style wasn't really my thing, especially the way Jack is drawn. His eyes are very close together and he has a massive chin and butthole lips; looks nothing like Kurt Russell. The backrounds are well drawn and colored but nothing really stood out.
As for the story well...it is what it is for a 24 page comic. Characters are introduced, some form of plot is thrown in the last three pages I suppose. There's a bit of action at the beginning but nothing really substantial happens overall.
I don't think this comic is for me. I assuming people who've seen both movies would understand it better? So if you've seen both movies check it out I guess.
