I think unreliable narrators are hard to do, and that this one missed the mark a bit. To me the problem was the amount of times she admitted she was lying and said "I don't know why I lied; it's a compulsion" because it took the fun out of deciding when to trust her. I did really enjoy the last chapter, I think it made me enjoy it much more than I had before. This book has stuck with me quite strongly since I've read it.
