This book is a reread for me.  Previously I gave  it 2 stars and never bothered to go on to the next in the series.
However, in a FB group they kept recommending it as a great mafia why choose.  And at that stage I hadn't realised I had already read it.  I  wasn't far in when I realised that it was familiar and decided to continue to see what I'd missed.
I am so glad that I did. It was actually a good mafia why choose romance. The leader of the Italian mob is a female who inherited the position from her father. At first it starts as a "nice" romance with her going to consummate her relationship with boyfriend.  But once they do, she discovers he is not the man she thought he was.  From there we start to get into the mafia stuff, and a lot of romantic smutt. When her relationships ( 5 men, crossed swords and all) are working and seem to gel, that's when we get more mafia. The last 100 or so pages go at a breakneck speed. And it ends on a great cliffhanger.
