The MC is a pushover, let's other people dictate her life and the entire book is predictable from there. She will fall in love, find a back bone & live HEA. In the meantime I will grow more and more frustrated with her letting her abusive & neglectful mother continue to abuse her, and watch her get passed for a promotion from her abusive bosses, oh, and get used by her "best friend."
ALSO - WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE YA AUTHORS WHO DON'T AGE UP THE MENTALITY OF THEIR CHARACTERS????? UGH. Not reading another YA author "newest romance debut" again. This is the 3rd time!!!!!!
