States of Emergency by Chris Knapp

3.0

This book should have just been essays. The entire fictionalized portion didn’t work for me. It felt contrived to make the historical/political analysis work. But the book still had some banger analysis on the current states of emergencies so to speak so I didn’t totally hate it. It definitely made me think a lot. And homeboy can write so there’s that!
