The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Bagram Ibatoulline, Kate DiCamillo
5.0
What a fantastic book! I read this to my campers each night at camp and it sparked some great conversations throughout the week!
The story is about a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. At the beginning of the story he belongs to a girl named Abilene who loves him dearly, but he is quite vain and self-centered. Throughout the book he finds himself in a variety of situations and we watch his character grow and change throughout the book.
My campers and I laughed and cried throughout this story. Kate DiCamillo wrote a beautiful tale. I borrowed this book from the library, but will definitely be keeping an eye out for my own copy. It's one I'd love to reread again and again.
