AH-MAY-ZEEE-ING!!! I want more!! :)

I was intrigued by the idea of this book. It reminds me a bit of the X-Men and that’s cool with me. I found out about this book one day by stalking Net Galley and it sounded interesting so I requested it and was delighted to be approved.
On to my thoughts about this debut novel: I have to say that it was one of my favorites this year. The plot is fast moving and action-packed. The characters were likeable, some are loveable and sometimes they even have that love-to-hate quality about them. I also loved that it didn’t leave me in one of those pull-out-my-hair-scream-‘til-I’m-deaf cliffhangers. Ms. Accardo ties things up nicely but still leaves you wanting more.
I really love the names that were chosen for the characters, too: Dez, Kale, Dax and Alex. Not only do they have brilliant names but these characters were full of awesomesauce.
Let’s start with Dez, she’s one kick-ass chick. She’s not afraid to do what she wants when she wants to, no matter that it drives her father crazy. I loved her for it. I like a little rebellion in my heroines and no one does it better than Dez. She totally stands up for what she believes is right.
Kale is super HAWT, super sweet, super amazing guy. The thing that I love about him so much is his innocence and his primal desire to protect Dez. I don’t want to say too much and spoil the book for you but believe me...he’s so worth the praise.
Alex and Dax were awesome supporting characters and I am looking forward to getting to know them better in the next couple of books. I hear that we’ll definitely be seeing more of Dax. YAY!!
There are also a few very nasty, very despicable villains that you’ll just love to hate. I’ve seen some wicked villains but the ones in this novel are as atrocious and evil as they come.
Here’s a little sample of the awesomeness that is TOUCH:
So don’t delay any longer, go buy TOUCH now. You can find it at Amazon, Barnes & Noble or ask for it at your local bookstore.

“He sat up straight, eyes wide, and touched the tip of his index finger to his cheek. "What was that?"
I blushed. "A kiss."
"That's what a kiss feels like?"
"Well, technically. There are a lot of different types of—"
"Show me."
"Show you what?"
"Show me some other kinds."
"You're asking me to kiss you?"
