You Better Be Lightning by Andrea Gibson

This is my first collection from Gibson, but it won't be my last. I loved their voice, it felt so genuine and honest; like they were talking with me. The poems are longer, which isn't really my thing but their voice makes up for all of that.
I marked several poems as favorites but the one that stood out the most for me was "Instead of Depression". Others I really enjoyed were "The Museum of Broken Relationships" and "To Whom It Definitely Concerns" and "What Love Is".
