The entirety of this book was a solid four-star read: complex characters, unexpected twists and a page turning plot. However, I am all about the ending and the last few chapters of this book bumped it up to a five. I especially felt a connection to Pippa and hadn’t realized how much I related to her until those final pages. The kicker was I thought I had it figured out and was disappointed in the predictability of it all. Boy, did Sally Hepworth prove me wrong in a most wonderful and unexpected way.
