i have so many feelings about this book that i need to share

i loved that it was set in ireland, reading a book and hearing about Cork, Blackrock and the Aviva, and words like culchie and langers were honestly just so fun and it made me very happy to read a book set in my own country
shannon’s story broke me, i’m terrified to see what happens to her next but i’m hopeful that keeping 13 gives her more peace
johnny was such a likeable male love interest, and there was no real miscommunication in this book which i LOVED
i can already feel that the found family is gonna be AMAZING. i can’t wait for a book about claire and gibsie omgg

as someone who is currently in the middle of two series with found family in them, i’m a very happy reader rn
