Review: *starts the slow clap*  Easily top of the list of all the books I've read this year so far. I LOVED this book. The characters were so believable in their humanity, depth, even brokenness. I love that it didn't hide behind a ton of graphic sex scenes and focused on the heart. I especially appreciated that Chase was just *good*. I often find it difficult to be okay with the asshole-to-perfect man trope, and luckily I did not have to deal with that in this book. There's also a powerful lesson in here about boundaries and finding the strength to enforce those boundaries for yourself and your healing! I stan that energy! I found myself crying more than once while reading this, partially from the often difficult subject material (you may want to read the trigger warnings at the start if you have trauma/triggers), but also because of the beautiful relationships, friendships, and support systems (Rose, Ella, Zoey, Gary, Laura, Stephen, even Aaron). This book makes you want to go out and hug your people.
