So i started to read this book because i kept seeing it on my bookstagram page and then when i went to goodreads it has such a good rating with the thousands of ratings that i caved in and got it on my kindle and requested at my local bookshop if they could order it specially for me (thanks to the lovely woman at my local bookshop she was able to, forever thankful cant wait for it to come in my mail in 10 days lol) 

I started this book with high expectations due to all the great reviews i have read and honestly, it was even better then my expectations! 

I have howled of laughter and the thick sarcasm, i have shed tears at parts and the writing is just absolutely great and filled with emotion! I was fully sucked into this world it had all the ingredients like other fantasies but yet it was still different to me! Yes there is fae, there is vampires but i cant remember the last time i have read about a mix of a vamp/fae! I love that change up and i cant wait for the next book!

Then we didnt just get surprised by the fmc but also with another character WHICH I BY THE WAY DID NOT EXPECT UNTIL LIKE ONE CHAPTER BEFORE IT HAPPENED!? loved that change up too, loved the spotlight was not just on searis😌 the writer did a great job on making the book her own yet with all the ingredients of a great fantasy!
