This book was not my favorite. I love the Hunger Games series then and now, but this prequel fell short of that.
I'm very much a character reader. If the characters don't appeal to me, then I don't like the book.
This book is about President Snow's like before he became President. When he was poor living in the capitol, he decides to become a mentor for the hunger games, because the games were only a few years old.
Anyways, I had very little sympathy for him to begin with. But it was an interesting story. It just didn't hold my attention.
