I absolutely LOVED THIS. Bride and Prejudice meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding. A beautifully written book about a (Un) Arranged Marriage. I also want to say, that this book was written in a way, so that readers, such as myself, who are not from India, and/or have limited understanding of the culture and custom of this vibrant country felt embraced and enriched.

Kriti is the oldest in her family. A school teacher, consciously curvy (and wishing she wasn't) a purveyor of romance books and still hopeful of love.

Aakar is the MMC, and he too is the oldest in his family. He feels the weight of being responsible for the entire family/extended family. He made me swoon more times than I could count, and the way he was with Kriti, and embracing her body insecurities OMG *blushing.

They met on an "arranged marriage" premise, much to the excitement of both families, they continue to "court" on their terms, they want to learn more about each other without the weight of families expectations. All the family members have their own issues, quirks and personality that just made me laugh, smile, and love them all. The banter especially between Kriti and Aakar, had Aakar met is match in Kriti, and Kriti finding what she truly desired and deserved (and keeping true to herself), I mean, she is no pushover and I loved that. Thank you for allowing me to ARC read this for you, it was truly beautiful and I loved this.
