I tend not to read many mystery/thriller books because I know that, once I start to read one, than there's no way for me to put the book down. When I was halfway through it I thought about recommending it as a summer read for someone, but I suppose that I won't do that anymore because this story left me shocked and I should learn by my own mistakes that I shouldn't finish this kind of books before going to sleep (i.e. Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None). So this is definitely a book I would recommend but not while relaxing on the beach. Even to people who usually don't read young adult.
