Good for her

This is one of the books where you just want to hold the main characters and make everything okay for them. Winona and Lucille are best friends and each other's anchor and ignition for fleeing their abusive families. There are definitely some parts of Hello, Girls that require a little suspension of disbelief and also some parts in which the girls seem frustratingly trusting considering their respective pasts. Regardless of that I just really loved seeing how Winona and Lucille are truly each other's ride or die. And the entire climax and denouement is so bittersweet yet satisfying.
