Haikyu!!, Vol. 33 by Haruichi Furudate
i take full day breaks from reading mangas because it usually takes me a while to fully get into the zone again and i also don’t like finishing a bulk of chapters in one go because im scared of finishing it too quickly so right now i can’t fully articulate how much of a ride this volume was.
inarizaki end match: i was an absolute mess. i finished reading that at around 2am of yesterday and then i proceeded to bawl about how much haikyuu made my life so much better. i genuinely don’t know if i’ll ever be happy after the day it ends and every inch of my being is bracing for that finale.
seeing karasuno huddle together at the end of that match really drove me into tears because god, i may sound like a broken stereo by now, but i am so. fucking. proud of them. they’ve accomplished more than i could ever fathom and i am so grateful to have been able to read their stories.
i sound pretty corny and shit right now but in reality the barest of my emotions just translate to “HOLY FUCK THOSE ARE MY FUCKING BOYSBSJSJDJSJS I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCHDJSMSK GOD” so yeah this pretentious think piece is an effort to be more refined in my reviews.
nekoma is up and i think another one of these long ass reviews is bound to happen, karasuno will see this one through again.
