Hell & High Water

I love it. I like the characters (Dex ♥ Gael ♥). I like the world (even though - a bit more - more backstory, more infos on stuff like Greenpoint and how civilians deal with everything) would have been awesome (maybe in the next part(s)? I liked the case (even though I guessed early on who the "bad guy" is).
I like that there is no insta-love (there is insta-lust but even that hasn't been overbearing and too much) and I like that Dex and Sloane think about consequences and what they want (and yes, sometimes they think and decide not to have sex and a page later they do have sex... *sighs*).
I love Dex. His humor and his way to see the world are awesome. ♥ I had (and still have) trouble with Sloane and didn't really get "warm" with him. Let's see how that goes in the next book. I love all the supporting characters and Gael the most. ♥
In short - I like.
