The Madness of Viscount Atherbourne by Elisa Braden

2.0

I’ll be honest, I couldn’t make it to the end no matter how hard I tried.

The start was intriguing but as the story progressed I found myself growing more annoyed with both Victoria and Lucien. I really didn’t like how Tori seemed to jump from being upset about not being allowed to see her family to just forgetting all that just because she’s attracted to her husband? Nah, I’m not going to be cheering for this relationship to succeed. It seemed to be toeing the line between abusive from both ends.

I was intrigued about the Jane and Harrison interaction and I will check out the other books to see what they’re like.
