Jinx by Meg Cabot

3.0

I enjoyed reading Jinx. It was really interesting and held my attention. I also have a weakness for "stand alone books" (aka books that I don't have to wait for the sequal) It was very unique, and not nearly as predictable as most YA chick lit books. Also, it was well written (let's face it, Meg Cabot is an amazing writer) but I didn't like it as much as I did the Airheadbooks. I think that her books get better each time so maybe going backwards (from the last books she wrote to this one) wasn't a very good idea. I just had REALLY high expectations after the Airhead series and wanted too much out of it. Now I feel bad. It was NOT a bad book I DID enjoy it and it only took me a day to read, it just wasn't her BEST book. I would put it on my summer reading list and reccomend it, but it's not a "Must Read Right Now" book.
