This was everything I needed it to be and more. Reading about a woman coming out later in life and all that she goes through mentally with that, it was chef's kiss. The plot was simple, but engaging. There was no irritating miscommunication trope that sent me spiraling into furry like with most romcoms I've read. It's a beautifully paced friends to lovers that just makes your heart sing as you watch our two fmcs fall in love.
