The Fraud by Zadie Smith
4.0

Ended up loving this but was initially very put off by the jumpy feel of the very short (Victorian serialisation style!) chapters moving erratically between so many timelines. Also this book has the funniest, most cliché, funniest ‘straight’ description of lesbian sex (all flowers metaphors, no actual bodies and fluid and gunk and interactions). I loved the satire of the literary industry and Bogle’s history was v v moving.
