Dude is an actual asshole, which admittedly is the point. It was still tough to read about someone who I actually really disliked and try to cheer for him. xD Not awful, but rubbed me the wrong way too often for me to really come out of this thinking "that was great" or anything. Probably aces for specific other people though who can vibe with the element of being SUPER into a fandom, which is also not something that resonates for me. They also make a point to note that when he's shifted he's still PRETTY MUCH HUMAN, just with long nails and teeth and jaw or whatever. But human enough that it's not really bestial shifter sex, right? Ehhh. They tried to find a way to justify it where I think people who want bestial shifter sex won't be satisfied, and people who DON'T want that also won't be satisfied. xD Oops.
