Paris Daillencourt Is About to Crumble by Alexis Hall

4.0

If you’re looking for a cute light rom-com this is not the book for you. The MC in this book is struggling with anxiety and it’s a big plot point in the story, also the MC has a bad relationship with his parents that is completely heartbreaking. That being said I did really enjoy this! I really liked the anxiety representation. The characters were really unique and the kind of random side characters were fun. I did, however, find it a bit difficult to keep track of the different contestants. I didn’t really love the love interest at first, I found he was way too hard on Paris at times—but in the end, he had some redemption and I ended up liking him. I do feel like it was a little longer than it needed to be and often felt repetitive to the point where I started to get bored. Overall, I did really enjoy this book and the representation in it, I would highly recommend giving this book a read!
