A Justified Murder by Jude Deveraux
4.0

The Medler Three are tight, solving murders will do that to you. Plus they're family. Sara and Kate are actually aunt and niece, & Jack is the grandson she should have had if she'd stayed with the love of her life.
Kate is finally living away from her horrible uncles and clingy mother, she's nice and a great realtor, she lives with her loving aunt, and Jack could not flirt with her more, and yet she is not interested.... right.
This mystery is a cosy, but honestly it was quite scary when you realize how evil some people can be and how powerless actual-law abiding-citizens are when its your word against another, seemingly, church-secretary lady.
Janet was conniving and manipulative, she had nothing to do but get the best of everyone, until they all got together and killed her. Now, the Medler Three don't know anything about that but they are determined to solve the mystery, even tho they claim not to want to get involved.
Trouble is, there are so many little mysteries, & one of the bigger ones is the kidnapped/returned baby
mystery involving their good friend. It's all tangled when Kate's boss Twyla confesses to it all, knowing that the medley Three will do their best to untangle it all.
