hate to say it girlies but if you didn’t like this book you’re def the target audience and also a little bit part of The Problem ™️
my only criticism so to speak was i found the writing was both showing AND telling but then realized i might feel this way because I already know the nuances of colonialism and how imperialism is bad so i might not need it drilled into my head as much as other readers might
my 4 years of latin really came in handy for this one tho boutta hit my latin teacher bc i know he’d eat this up
