I’m giving it 3.75 stars instead 5 (like the rest of the books in this series)
For multiple reasons, first of all the pacing was a bit boring, second of all Shallan does not have enough character development, and no I don’t consider that 20 or so pages of the book where Sanderson just decided to give a Horrible conclusion to a love triangle “character development”
I don’t hate Shallan/Adolin, it’s just when you compare it to Shallan/Kaladin, The former is just boring, bland, and they liked each other at like first sight that is very shallow.
The conclusion made the whole Chasms scene unnecessary, like why did it even happen? If that’s how you’re going to end the story.
Anyway I’m going to look for fanfics now to fill the empty space in my heart
