Sequel to “A Psalm for the Wild Built”, this novella is about a robot with consciousness and a non-binary monk who introduces it to human civilization. Cozy and gentle, beautiful and sweet, safe and optimistic, but still asking important questions about the purpose of life and the state of the self. These two main characters form a heart-warming friendship in this quick, enjoyable read.
