The Wildflower
by J.L. Beck
Thank you so much J.L Beck for an ARC of this book.
It was one of my most anticipated reads this year. I was so excited to continue Drew and Bel’s story after that wild cliffhanger in The Wallflower. It absolutely did not disappoint. Bel- this poor girl has it rough. She goes through some tough shit, but it only makes her grow out of her shell. She becomes stronger and bolder. She finds finds her voice. I loveddd watching her relationship develop with Sebastian. It was honestly one of my favorite parts in this book. I can’t wait to read his book now more than ever! Now let’s get to our much loved villain, Drew motherfckn’ Marshall. Ugh this man. He completely fucked up and he knows it. He also refuses to let the thought of Bel slipping away ever become a reality. He knows what he has to do for them to get their HEA. This most def. includes lots of groveling. As it should! My heart really broke for him even in this book. There’s so much he has gone through that reflects on who he is as a person. I loved his realizations to the feelings he has for Bel. There’s a major twist in the story that had me shocked and I just stared at my kindle, rereading to make sure I was actually grasping what was happening. It was insane. I loved this book so much. This series is going to be one of my favorite’s, and I can’t wait for all the roomies to get their books.
