Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole

5.0

“I stared at the depthless midnight sky, my thoughts as turbulent as they’d ever been, and I burned and I burned and I burned.
And I wondered how long I had until the fire in my soul burned me alive”

This book was recommended to my by several people and was listed as a favorite on 90% of the bookstagram accounts I follow.

I was easily drawn in from the very beginning. I fell in love with Diem (Fmc) right away. I just loved her playful, yet rebellious and non-traditional demeanor. I will always ALWAYS love a character that does not give a SHIT about societies expectations.

Now Luther? Daddy? I love him too. I love how Penn gave us just enough of him for us to fall in love but also crave more in the next book.

I am starting Glow now and I cannot wait to see what unfolds.

The writing style of Penn needs to get a 5/5 as well. There were several parts of the book where I was able to picture AND feel what the characters were seeing and feeling.

If you have not read this yet, go ahead and start the series. Please
