You say, "celebrity, age-gap", and I will immediately start to swoon. I'm not ashamed to admit it! When I read the synopsis and I anxiously awaited the release date! I'm sure all of us have had a celebrity crush that you prayed would film a movie on your street where you'd meet and fall in love. Well, Rachel Janssen's wish was granted, and her scientist's brain was the "reason" she met and began dating A-list celebrity, Cate Whitney.
I really liked that this book didn't have any angst involving the 18-year age difference between Cate and Rachel. Their biggest issues involved Cate's celebrity status and her jerk of an ex-husband. The chemistry between our mains was apparent from moment one and it was lovely to be able to have courtside seats for their relationship development. Abby, Rachel's roommate added humor and insight to the story. The steamy scenes were hot and left me fanning myself at times. This is a light-hearted romance that will make even the non-romantics smile!
