Six Crimson Cranes is a mesmerizing blend of East Asian mythology and fairy tales, filled with magic, adventure, and heart. Shiori, a spirited princess with forbidden magic, is banished by her stepmother and forced into a perilous journey to save her six brothers—who have been cursed to live as cranes. With every word she speaks, one of them will die.
This story is beautifully written, with an engaging plot, breathtaking twists, and a slow-burn romance that keeps you hooked. The mix of dragons, magic, and an unexpected alliance with Takkan makes it even more captivating. Though the ending felt a bit rushed, the journey was nothing short of phenomenal. I can’t wait to read the sequel!
