Enemy of God: A Novel of Arthur by Bernard Cornwell
3.0
adventurous dark tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Loveable characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Strong start and finish with a slower paced middle (although that’s not necessarily a fault), but as with the first book, still an engaging and enjoyable ride throughout. The world of fifth-century England feels foreign but the people and their story is both timeless and current.
