Falling for Gage
by Mia Sheridan
hopeful
lighthearted
slow-paced
Gage and his friends are stuck in a small town after they experience some cat problems. They find themselves in the local pub where Gage calls dibs on their waitress, Rory. After he realized he left his card at the bar, he returns to find Rory still there, alone. He thought his days of one night stands were over, but not any more. Weeks later, Rory shows up in Gage’s hometown claiming to be an art appraiser in order to gain access to local family history to help her with the mystery of where she came from. Gage immediately recognizes Rory, and tempted to expose her real occupation, he's drawn to help her on her mission instead.
I was pulled to this book from seeing everyone's interest in one of the authors previous books that's all around booksta.
There were a lot of cute moments between Rory and Gage. I especially loved the parts involving the dogs and also Gage running his car into the fire hydrant. I was not really a fan of a couple of the storylines in here - one I won't mention because of a possible spoiler, and the other is involving Blakely. Other than those, I did enjoy the book. The epilogue was probably one of my favorite parts as it was super cute. This was my first audiobook with Maeve York and Benjamin Sands, and I enjoyed them together.
A big thank you to Dreamscape Media and the author for letting me review this advanced copy! All thoughts are my own.
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You like mysterious fast paced romances that are more sweet than spicy.
