a strong opening and an ending that slam dunks, with the classic middle meanderings of anne rice’s theological and philosophical musings (which i enjoy and were more engaging than iwtv’s but could have still been condensed). gotta give ms anne rice her flowers for backing the high literature and spiritual tangents with the most batshit crazy plot and characters
