This friends to lovers story was so cute. Watching two friends who have loved one another for years navigate the friend zone was interesting. And I liked watching them navigate a fake relationship which of course wasn't so fake. And it was nice to see Nathan push the boundaries Bree put in place to segment her friendship so she doesn't have false hope. But unknowingly making things harder for her to finally be with him as a romantic partner.
The sexual tension was definitely high in this book and there was a lot of fan service for woman in Bree's pov.
I liked that both Bree and Nathan had mental health struggles they had to overcome, which added more depth to their characters.
I didn't realise Bree basically had no friends and I found that quite strange considering Nathan has many. So while Nathan has 3 or 4 guys to support him as he navigated his feelings for his best friend, Bree only had her older sister as her support system.
Spice conent : 🌶🌶(heavy make out scenes, heavy sexual tension)
