There are a lot of trigger warnings. I knew this going in and I won’t lie I almost gave up. Despite that, I think I can see where the author is leading the main female lead. As hard as some parts were to read (listen to), I think the character development and world building was good. I’m intrigued to see where it goes in the next books because it left off with a large cliff hanger.
