Great book full of nomadic charm. Kerouac does an amazing job of describing the characters' zeal for life. This book made me happy which is more than I can say for many others. Ripe with references to Zen Buddhism, this book will transport you to the summit of Matterhorn or into a hopped traincar on the way west.
