Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert
4.0

Wrapped up in you is a holiday novella ripe with deep emotional complexity, yet sings of Talia Hibbert’s uniquely witty and romantic signature voice. Her words read like poetry more often than not, and I just adore her style and voice.

A friend to protagonists with brokenness, this is yet another example of Talia using her words advocating for those struggling (past or present) with mental health or former abuse (this particular story sensitively handles both and has a warning at the beginning). I appreciate wholeheartedly how she uses her writing for advocacy. Her characters embody “it is okay not to be okay”, but they take it the forward step further and try not to stay that way. And as should be in real life, there is always a loving, supportive, and encouraging person in their corner. Will was there perfect all- in hero and I adored his character.
This was not the fluffy steamy romantic comedy Christmas novella I assumed it would be, but, it was no less enjoyable.
